The Paul Birich Aquatics Elite Lesson Program is designed for swimmers aged 12-18 years seeking a comprehensive, individualized approach to skill development and performance. Led by Paul Birich, a USA-certified coach, All-American swimmer, and Division 1 collegiate athlete. This program combines expert instruction with a holistic focus on athletic growth.
The Elite Lesson Program at Paul Birich Aquatics delivers a complete training experience, combining technical instruction, physical conditioning, and expert guidance in a supportive environment. Whether aiming for competitive success or personal bests, swimmers receive the tools and mentorship needed to excel in life.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:

All Lessons will be held at Sleepy Hollow Pool on Saturdays & Sundays
Private lessons offer personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored to each swimmer’s abilities and goals. Sessions are 60 minutes each, ensuring focused attention on technique, endurance, and race strategy . Swimmers progress through a structured curriculum that covers all skill levels, from body alignment to stroke refinement along with starts and turns.

All swim workouts will immediately follow private lesson
Swimmers receive customized written workouts designed to address their specific strengths, weaknesses, and event goals. These workouts tailored to each swimmer, ensuring each athlete follows a structured plan that maximizes improvement both in and out of scheduled lessons. All written workouts will follow directly after each private lesson.

Swimmers benefit from individualized race strategy sessions, where Paul breaks down event strategy, pacing, and mental preparation. Swimmers learn how to maximize their strengths, manage nerves, and execute race plans for optimal results.

Using video analysis, Paul provide detailed feedback on stroke mechanics, starts, and turns. This technology-driven approach allows swimmers to visualize their technique, identify areas for improvement, and track progress over time.

The program supports families by offering resources and sessions to educate parents about swim training, athlete development, and ways to support their child’s swimming journey. This ensures a collaborative environment and helps parents make informed decisions.

The program includes guidance on nutrition to support training and recovery. Swimmers and families receive practical advice on fueling for practices, meets, and overall health, helping athletes develop habits that sustain long-term progress in and out of the pool.
